“Cool Bitch” is full of bad ass energy meant to amp you up! It aims to get yourself out of that dark spiral and into the light where you see your worth and beauty. I produced this Lizzo inspired song to be more upbeat, less serious, and more electronic-led. It promotes self-love and confidence through my story while also being very fun to listen to. It finishes with a more raw ballad finale during which I express a more vulnerable side to my “cool bitch” vibes. “Sometimes I look in the mirror, I gotta see myself a little bit clearer” is a reminder to see beyond the flaws. We all put our flaws under the microscope a lot more than we do our strengths. I rap “I’m a hero in some storybooks, a villain in others” which is an admission to not always doing the right thing. It’s only human that we play both characters. Your flaws should never define who you are. You’re still a cool bitch that just needs to be a little kinder to yourself. So raise a glass to your awesomeness.
